This full day seminar took an in-depth look at the threats facing school and work place violence with an emphasis on pre-event indicators. Using historical empirical data, case studies, press and media clips, these presentations provided the attendees a fundamental look at the commonalities, warning signs, and motivations behind planned attacks.
Taught by subject matter experts from the FBI Critical Incident Response Group program’s, including the National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime program, the Counter IED program, and the Evidence Response Team, as well as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), the four main presenters share from nearly 80 years of law enforcement experience.
The appropriate audience for this program included law enforcement and Intelligence personnel; InfraGard members; Campus safety, security, and risk personnel at academic, commercial, and government facilities; and those engaged in security at Faith-based Institutions.
